Post-modernist meets park-keeper in a display of futuristic ferver. A curving rank of space-age towers dominate the dark waters of an amoebic lake, which, when lit up at dusk, form a starkly modern reflection of yesterday's vision for tomorrow.
Luis Peņa Ganchegui's strikingly innovative design was inaugurated in 1985, and though now considerably shabbier, it still manages an imaginative nod towards the city of the future.
