Barcelona celebrates its love of all things sweet here at the Chocolate museum. Informative displays and an audio-visual presentation detail the history of the dark brown gold, as well as the city's coco connections.

Many of the Modernista buildings look like chocolate box fantasies, here the chocolate fantasies look like Modernista buildings. Feast your eyes on miniature Casa Milà, Casa Batlló and Casa Amatller, just a few of the majestic chocoholic residences.
Recognising the Hansel and Gretal factor in us all, the museum has placed these grand edibles just out of reach. The licking of walls or pinching flaky bits from rooftops is not encouraged. You will have to munch your way through the streets of Barcelona by some other means.
