A survivor of the city's 1929 International Exhibition, this spectacular cable car stretches between two 400 foot high towers and across the harbour to the heights of Montjuic.

If dangling 350 feet above the ground in a steel box sounds like your idea of fun, then you'll love the Transbordador Aeri. If not, you'll probably love it anyway, just with sweatier palms; for the views are spectacular and the experience completely thrilling.
Thankfully a lift carries you effortlessly up the mechano-like tower, 390 feet to the launch deck. Two precipitous diving boards meet the approaching cars, and once safely inside you're off, floating across the skyline with the stunning cityscape and the ship-like World Trade Centre below you. It's no time to talk of rusting ironwork, or James Bond-like trapdoors. Rather, think of yourself floating across in a hot air balloon, just ignore the twang and snap of the mighty steel cables above your head.
