Barcelona celebrates its love of all things sweet here at the Chocolate museum. Informative displays and an audio-visual presentation detail the history of the dark brown gold, as well as the city's coco connections.

If you're lucky enough to time you visit to coincide with one of the museum's many school demonstrations, you'll be able to view the sticky sweet proceedings through the rear glass wall of the lecture room.
Rows of squirming school kids sit fixated as oodles of flowing chocolate are poured tantalizingly in front of them. Just wait for the stampede when the chocolatier asks for volunteers. The sweetness of the air is infectious, producing chuckles of delight from the adults watching jealously from the back.
